Job Description

Experienced Specialist within the Manufacturing/Product Quality Assurance job family. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Complexity & Problem Solving:
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Collaboration & Interaction:
Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.

Experienced Specialist (Hourly)Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical experience or associate degree in a related discipline, additional education in Statistical Quality Control/Statistical Process-Control, Six Sigma, or related coursework is preferred. At least 2 years of manufacturing or quality experience in an industrial environment. Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and time-management skills. Team-oriented approach with a desire to work in a hands-on capacity. Excellent PC skills including experience with MS Office Suite. Positive attitude and good judgment. Strong sense of responsibility and ownership. Positive can-do attitude. Physical Requirements Ability to work in high noise areas and wear appropriate hearing protection devices. Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch. The position requires the ability to regularly stand for long periods of time. The position requires good close vision and depth perception. Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and occasionally lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to complete all essential job functions listed in the position responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
