regulatory activities and plant compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements while working with both
USDA-FSIS
inspectors and plant operations personnel Prepare carcasses and product components for inspection by making required cuts and incisions using approved tools and techniques and communicate regularly with

inspectors to support inspection activities Perform food safety and quality monitoring activities throughout the production process to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards Conduct product, process, and sanitation verifications, documenting inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions accurately and completely Perform job duties in a fast-paced, cold, or warm production setting with required PPE while engaging in physical tasks such as standing for long periods of time, climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory policies Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Must be 18 years or older Ability to read, write, and speak English Basic math skills, including the ability to work with weights, measurements, and production information Basic knowledge of safe food handling practices Ability to use knives, hooks, and other job-related tools safely and effectively and lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications Previous beef or protein processing experience Previous knife handling experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment Experience working in food safety, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance or with
