Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and inspection plans. Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, ring and plug gauges, and other inspection tools. Identify, document, and contain nonconforming product. Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation. Communicate quality requirements and inspection findings with production personnel. Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement efforts. Maintain inspection equipment and ensure tools remain clean and in proper working order. Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Basic computer skills (email, documentation, accessing work instructions). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent visual inspection skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with production teams. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience inspecting precision machined components. Knowledge of first article or in-process inspections. Experience working in a CNC machining environment. Passion for continuous improvement and problem solving.
