Monday-Friday Job Summary:
Are you passionate about quality, troubleshooting, and electrical systems? We're looking for a Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our growing team! If you enjoy solving problems, reading electrical schematics, and ensuring products meet the highest quality standards, this is the opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Test, inspect, and power up electrical control panels before shipment. ✔ Verify panel wiring, assembly, and Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy. ✔ Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues to ensure top-quality performance. ✔ Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation. ✔ Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve quality and efficiency. ✔ Use electrical test equipment to diagnose and resolve issues. ✔ Occasionally travel to customer sites for equipment start-up and commissioning (less than 20%).
Basic Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting. Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams). Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
⭐ Technical or Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related field. ⭐ Experience with industrial control systems. ⭐ Knowledge of Rockwell Automation and Siemens technologies. ⭐ Familiarity with NEC Codes and UL508A standards. ⭐ Experience with ladder logic, PLCs, electrical and pneumatic systems. ⭐ AutoCAD experience and the ability to read electrical drawings. ⭐ Experience creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and panel layouts.
