QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR ICF

Industries is actively seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector with hands-on experience in a high-mix job shop environment. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in laser cutting, CNC machining, press brake forming, paint, and welding inspection. Utilize various measuring tools, including calipers, protractors, CMMs, to assess product dimensions and specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective quality assurance protocols. Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Participate in internal audits, support external audits, ISO compliance, and continuous improvement. Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections.

Skills/Requirements:

Quality Inspection experience within a manufacturing environment (at least one year) Proficient in using various measurement tools; calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, protractors Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Solid understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred background:

Experience in metal fabrication environments, ideally from shops that do custom work with carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum. Familiarity with fiber laser machines, press brakes, and manual/robotic welding. Understanding the part flow from cutting to forming to welding to final assembly. Comfortable working directly with production teams to resolve quality issues on the floor.
