What To Expect
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Poplar Bluff, MO plant, you will be a Quality Technician II.
The Quality Technician is responsible for verifying process set-ups and providing specialized technical support to engineers and production teams to ensure final product quality. This role includes testing processed materials against quality specifications, assisting in troubleshooting production issues, and alerting key personnel to negative quality trends. The technician may be required to fill in on other shifts with short notice due to absences or vacations.
Key Responsibilities (to name a few) Perform testing of incoming and in-process materials to ensure compliance with quality specifications Provide specialized technical support to engineers and operations for evaluating final product characteristics Verify process set-ups and changeovers, and assist in troubleshooting production issues Analyze test data by comparing results to specifications, and promptly alert key personnel to any negative trends or nonconformances Fill in for absences, vacations, or other coverage needs on alternate shifts, often on short notice Focus on meeting customer quality expectations, with key performance metrics including cost of poor quality, customer incidents, PPM defects, and internal scrap About You 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, laboratory setting, or quality assurance Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and strong problem-solving abilities Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) Proficient in using Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Office applications Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
