Penmac Staffing is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to help ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed work, analyzing data, and helping maintain product excellence throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements for the Quality Control InspectorExperience in Quality Inspection, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment required for external candidatesInternal manufacturing experience in welding, cabinet assembly, or component assembly may be consideredAbility to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, and other precision instrumentsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsBasic math skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong communication and recordkeeping abilitiesMust be self-motivated, dependable, and flexibleAbility to work up to two hours of overtime when neededQuality Control Inspector ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming materials and verify compliance with specificationsPerform visual and dimensional inspections during production and on finished productsCommunicate quality concerns and required adjustments to production personnelApprove finished products or coordinate rework when necessaryComplete inspection records, data reports, metrics, and other quality documentationAssist with Material Review Reports (MRRs) and vendor quality concernsReview customer returns and ensure proper product dispositionAnalyze quality data and identify trends that may indicate recurring issuesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives, LEAN activities, root cause analysis, and problem-solving effortsSupport quality standards throughout the production processAttend training opportunities and assist in other areas as neededThis is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector who wants to contribute to a team focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
