Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards by performing precise inspections, measurements, and audits throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold the company's commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify product specifications. Perform quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, GMP, and other regulatory standards to ensure compliance across all production stages. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings accurately to facilitate quality assessments. Utilize vision inspection systems and other advanced measurement tools to identify defects or deviations from quality standards in manufactured components. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings meticulously for review and continuous improvement initiatives. Support calibration of measuring instruments and ensure adherence to calibration schedules for accuracy and reliability. Participate in root cause analysis investigations for quality issues, collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions aligned with
HACCP, FDA
regulations, and other legal requirements. Qualifications Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, and GMP. Proficiency in using measurement instruments including micrometers, height gauges, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and production documents. Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, HACCP principles, and legal compliance requirements in manufacturing processes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data collection, analysis, and reporting accurately. Basic math skills necessary for dimensional measurements and quality calculations. Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for documenting inspection results clearly.
