Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality inspections on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to measure dimensions and tolerances
  • Analyze data collected during inspections to identify trends or areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and quality management systems
  • Fabricate and maintain inspection fixtures and gauges as needed
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality data
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations and quality management systems
  • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other gauges
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement
  • Experience in conducting quality inspections and audits
  • Knowledge of QA/QC principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement corrective actions
  • Proficient in data collection and record keeping
