Position Overview
G3 Aerospace is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for inspecting aerospaceponents and assemblies to ensure products meet customer requirements, engineering drawings, specifications, and G3 Aerospace quality standards.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, isfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and takes pride in ensuring that only conforming product moves through production and is released to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured aerospaceponents.
Inspect parts for dimensional, visual, and workmanship requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and inspection requirements.
Use standard inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
Verify manufactured parts conform to drawings and customer requirements.
Complete and maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
Identify and document nonconforming material or workmanship.
Work with Production, Engineering, and Quality personnel to resolve inspection and manufacturing issues.
Support First Article Inspections (FAIs) and associated documentation as required.
Verify identification, traceability, and documentation requirements prior to product release.
Assist with maintainingpliance with G3 Aerospace's quality management system.
Follow allpany safety, quality, and manufacturing prores.
Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
Aerospace, precision manufacturing, machining, plastics,posites, or similar manufacturing experience is a plus.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize discrepancies.
Ability to accurately document inspection results.
Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
Basicputer skills and ability to learnpany manufacturing and quality systems.
Dependable,anized, andmitted to producing quality work.
