Job Summary

Quality Inspector (A&P / Aviation Maintenance)

We are seeking experienced aviation maintenance quality professionals to join a growing MRO team in North Central, Montana. This role supports heavy maintenance inspections, aircraft modifications, and upgrades across multiple aircraft platforms within a fast-paced MRO environment. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, competitive compensation, and room for career growth.

Compensation & Benefits

    Hourly Rate:

    Up to $42.00/hour (DOE)

      Annual Earnings:

      Most contractors earn approximately $90,000.00+ per year, depending on voluntary overtime

        Per Diem:

        Up to $49,920 annually (tax-free), based on $960.00/week in tax-exempt per diem

        • Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday

        Shift:

        7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

        Key Responsibilities

        • Perform heavy maintenance inspections on aircraft and aircraft systems
        • Ensure maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and company quality standards
        • Conduct inspections across multiple aircraft platforms within an MRO environment
        • Review maintenance documentation for accuracy and completeness
        • Verify completed maintenance actions and approve return-to-service documentation as applicable
        • Identify discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are properly addressed
        • Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
        • Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence
          Qualifications
        • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
        • Prior experience in heavy maintenance or MRO environments preferred
        • Previous Quality Inspector or QA/QC experience strongly preferred
        • Experience on business jet aircraft preferred
        • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
        • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
        • Strong understanding of FAA regulations and maintenance documentation procedures
