09/10/2026 Job Description Job Description The Quality Control Inspector I will inspect raw materials, machined parts, in-process inspection of manufacturing processes and final inspections of finished products.
Essential Job Functions:
Receiving inspection of raw materials, machined parts and sub-assemblies. In-process inspection of manufacturing processes. Final inspection of finished assemblies. Use calipers, micrometers, depth gage, height gage, surface plate, pin gages, threaded plug/ ring gages, optical measurement equipment, wire pull testers, durometer testers and other mechanical inspection tools. Document inspection results as defined by QC procedures. Read and interpret component, sub-assembly and final assembly prints. Identify and control non-conforming material. Visual inspection of solder joints. Use electrical measurement and test equipment. Properly identify products and processes, perform the required job duties as instructed, along with understand the impact on compliance of the Ex, IRIS, TS, and ISO Products/Processes (Knowledge/Competence/Awareness).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read electronic color codes. Ability to read and interpret assembly prints.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Zero-one year QC inspector experience One year sensor assembly of basic electronics training or mechanical inspection tool experience.
Inside Temperature controlled building Normally controlled environment
