A Quality Control / Furniture Inspector to ensure that furniture products meet the company's quality standards before leaving the plant. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to inspect products from the customer's perspective. Responsibilities
Inspect furniture throughout all areas of plant production as needed.
Inspect products as if you are the customer, identifying quality issues before products leave the facility.
Understand and follow the complete production process from case production through finished product.
Identify dents, scratches, chips, defects, and other quality concerns.
Perform touch-up and repairs on table beds and other furniture using various tools and materials.
Take a final exit photo of all products leaving the plant.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all plant safety rules and procedures.
Maintain a quality-conscious approach while performing all duties.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods during an 8-hour workday.
Must be able to climb, stoop, twist, push, and pull as required.
Position involves repetitive arm and hand movements.
Must be able to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
