Job Description
As quality control technician you will work as a team of two in our QC department for Ensinger, an established global leader in plastics manufacturing. In our state of the art facilities in Huntersville, NC, you will collaborate with operations to address quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to building high quality products that exceed customer expectations. You will have exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. Ensinger employs approximately 40 employees, but is part of a global company with over 2200 employees. Key Responsibilities Conduct analysis of raw materials, in process materials, finished goods, checking for quality and that they meet necessary specifications. Perform calibration of mechanical inspection/verification equipment Develop and monitor quality metrics Prepare and maintain test data & reports Identify the root of technical issues and recommend fixes Create FAI and PPAP reports Operate CMM and opportunity to program in PCDMIS Perform internal audits Specialized Skills and Abilities Minimum 3-5 years quality control experience in a manufacturing environment including internal auditing. Experience utilizing hand held measuring devices, MicroVU and Optical Compartor equipment. Precision part measuring experience preferred. Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint Outstanding dexterity, strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities Excellent organizational skills Ability to analyze, and interpret information including reading and understanding technical documents, specifications and blueprints. Certification in Quality Assurance a plus,, Previous ISO experience preferred.
