Our teams contribute directly to the manufacturing excellence of aircraft components and subassemblies for global OEMs.

We are seeking Quality Inspectors (QLS) to support aircraft component and subassembly manufacturing operations in Kinston, North Carolina.

The QLS is responsible for inspecting, verifying, and ensuring product conformity in accordance with applicable engineering and manufacturing documentation, customer requirements, and quality standards.

Main responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify product conformity within the assigned technical specialty in accordance with applicable engineering and manufacturing documentation.
  
• Monitor manufacturing process execution and verify compliance with approved processes, procedures, and quality requirements.
  
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, work instructions, specifications, and applicable standards.
  
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities and discrepancies.
  
• Participate in the investigation and resolution of non-conformities and recurring quality issues.
  
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  
• Monitor process execution and identify potential quality risks before they result in product non-conformities.
  
• Verify that manufacturing operations are performed in accordance with applicable product definitions and manufacturing requirements.
  
• Monitor operator qualifications where applicable and communicate qualification-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
  
• Participate in quality, production, and cross-functional meetings.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality improvement initiatives.
  
• Communicate effectively with operators, Production, Quality, Engineering, and other internal departments.
  
• Escalate blocking points, significant quality issues, and discrepancies to the appropriate manager or quality function.
  
• Ensure accurate traceability of inspections, operations performed, tools, and products used.
  
• Support customer visits, quality reviews, and problem-resolution activities when required.
  
• Perform safety inspections and/or neutral zone checks as required.
  
• Maintain all required training and qualifications relevant to the position.
  
• Comply with applicable safety, hygiene, environmental, and working-condition requirements.

• Good knowledge of industrial and manufacturing environments.
  
• Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
  
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, work instructions, and/or 3D models.
  
• Ability to identify and document product and process non-conformities.
  
• Knowledge of quality procedures and manufacturing documentation.
  
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  
• Ability to work regular or shift-based schedules depending on operational requirements.
  Qualifications
  
• Relevant experience in aerospace manufacturing, quality inspection, aircraft component manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
  
• Experience with non-conformance management, quality inspections, or problem-solving is preferred.
  
• Experience reading engineering drawings, technical specifications, or manufacturing documentation is preferred.
  
• Military or aviation technical background is a plus.
