Job Description
Build your future while gaining hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing. Accurate Staffing is seeking a Quality Lab Tech Co-Op for one of our manufacturing partners in Newton, NC. This opportunity is designed specifically for students who are currently enrolled in school and are looking to gain valuable real-world experience while continuing their education. This position is ideal for students interested in manufacturing, welding, quality, or metal fabrication who want to apply what they're learning in a professional environment. What You'll Do Assist with quality testing and inspection of welded products and materials. Help prepare and evaluate weld test specimens. Read and interpret basic blueprints and engineering drawings. Support documentation of quality inspections and test results. Learn industry quality standards and laboratory procedures. Assist with maintaining lab equipment, tools, and organization. Work alongside experienced welding and quality professionals on production and R&D projects. Follow all safety procedures and quality requirements. Who We're Looking For You must be currently enrolled in school (full-time or part-time). You qualify if you meet one of the following: Enrolled in a Manufacturing, Welding, Metal Fabrication, or related technical program , OR Enrolled in any college degree program and have previous welding experience through work, vocational training or military service. We're looking for someone who: Has a strong attention to detail. Enjoys hands-on work. Is eager to learn and grow. Communicates well and works effectively in a team.
