6-12 months, with possible extension Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support receiving and in-process inspections within a production manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing experience, basic blueprint-reading skills, familiarity with inspection tools, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. This position is well suited for someone who is technically inclined, eager to learn, and able to follow detailed instructions and quality procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform receiving and in-process inspections of materials, processes, and electrical components. Conduct quality audits on production lines and the shop floor. Review technical documentation, engineering drawings, specifications, charts, and tables. Review and process material and processing certifications. Read and interpret basic blueprints and engineering drawings. Use tape measures and basic inspection/precision measuring instruments. Accurately enter receiving and inspection data into Microsoft Excel. Prepare reports and documentation using Microsoft Word. Print, scan, copy, rename, and organize electronic quality records and certifications. Maintain structured electronic files for easy identification and retrieval. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements. Attend internal and external training as required. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications 1-3+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing shop environment. Associate degree or approximately 2 years of related experience preferred. Experience with quality inspection, receiving inspection, or in-process inspection preferred. Basic blueprint/engineering drawing reading skills. Ability to read specifications, charts, tables, and technical documentation. Familiarity with materials and manufacturing/processing methods. Ability to use tape measures and basic inspection/precision measuring instruments. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word . Basic computer skills, including saving and organizing files in structured folders. Ability to perform basic math using inches, metric measurements, and fractions. Strong attention to detail, judgment, and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn technical processes quickly and follow direction. Excellent attendance and reliability. Ability to work overtime as needed. Physical & Work Environment Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb as required. Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment and moderate noise. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. occasionally . Ability to work safely in a production manufacturing environment. #
