Job Description

Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum 7-year experience in manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2-year experience in Quality Assurance
  • Demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Word, Excel- and PowerPoint, e.g.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics containing Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, GD&T, and welding symbols for inspection of parts.
  • Working knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines, CMM is preferred
  • Working knowledge and experience with Dye-Pen testing
  • Knowledge of welding steel products in accordance with D1.1-04 standard is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility. Personal Protection Equipment
  • Safety Glasses required while performing specific tasks.
  • Steel-toes shoes are required
  • Hearing protection required in designated areas. Work Environment
  • Works in an office and manufacturing environment.
  • Exposed to dust, odors, fumes, and noise.
MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS 1.
Inspect products using metrology tools, coordinate measure machine, scales prior to shipment. 2. Provide inspections such as ISIR's, FAI's, FAT test, in-process inspections, receiving inspections, and shop floor audits. 3. Provide dye-pen testing for welded products 4. Interact with suppliers and vendors as needed.

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
