Quality Technician - 1st
Shift Pay:
Low $20s/hr
Location:
Statesville, NC A manufacturing company is hiring a Quality Technician to support production and quality operations within the facility. This role focuses on inspecting parts and products, supporting quality processes, and helping resolve manufacturing quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections on parts and products during production using CMM equipment Complete inspection reports and documentation Assist with capability studies and gage R&R studies Support corrective actions and continuous improvement projects Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Experience with CMM equipment and quality inspection processes Knowledge of metric measurements, GD&T, PPAP, layout inspection, and corrective actions Understanding of quality systems such as ISO or IATF standards preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred:
Hexagon Scanning Arm experience is a plus
Physical Requirements:
