The Diagnostic Technician is responsible for performing technical diagnostic, inspection, and troubleshooting for all returned products. Diagnostic Technicians help maintain 5S standards of Service Workshop, complete fan inspections, update and maintain documentation of inspections in internal systems, and write inspection reports. This role supports in-house service operation, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA/8D), and coordination with internal departments such as R D and Quality to consult on technical issues when customers need feedback on results of inspections. The Diagnostic Technician plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate service execution and complaint resolution. Diagnostic Technician Your main responsibilities will be: Analyze returned components to identify technical issues and root causes of failure. Act as the contact for internal support during complex investigations. Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of returned fans and components. Assist in product failure analysis and warranty case resolution. Track and document customer returns in internal systems. Maintain material inventories for in-house customer products. Create and submit inspection reports to Service Admins. Define service actions such as repair, credit, scrap, or replacement. Complete inspection report and convey results to Admins and Engineers Support global alerts and escalated warranty cases by collecting and analyzing data through direct observation of issues. Contribute to the creation of error profiles and support accrual calculations. Maintain 5S standards in the service area. Assist in responding to customer complaints and support internal teams as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Electrical and mechanical work experience. Proficiency in using tools and electrical diagnostic equipment. Understanding of electrical schematics Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of 5S practices and structured problem-solving. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Customer-oriented mindset with flexibility and initiative. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong documentation and communication skills.
