Robert Half Permanent Placement is excited to partner with an aerospace industry manufacturer in the Buffalo, NY area on their search for a skilled Quality Engineer. This role has a starting salary of $65,000 - $85,000 depending on experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Our great client is going through a growth stage and needs to add a QE with direct experience with First Article Inspection Reports that can step right in a be a part of a highly functioning Quality team.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Prepare, review, and complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in compliance with AS9100D and customer requirementsSupport internal audits and ensure compliance with

ISO 9001

2015, AS9100D, customer, and company quality standards Analyze quality data, identify trends, and lead root cause/corrective action investigations and continuous improvement effortsReview and disposition nonconforming material in coordination with Engineering, Production, and InspectionParticipate in design/drawing reviews, with knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, manufacturability, and inspection requirementsDevelop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, records, and other controlled documentationProvide technical guidance to the Inspection Team, including use of precision measurement equipment and interpretation of mechanical/electrical drawingsParticipate in client visits that review testings of potential purchasing solutions
