Job Description

Milpower Source, Inc. is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of power conversion, power management, and networking solutions for the defense and aerospace markets. We work closely with the industry's leading OEMs, integrators, and subsystem developers. Our products include DC/DC converters, AC/DC inverters, solid state power distribution, generator control, VPX, and rugged battery backup solutions. We offer a unique lineup of power management solutions, offering software defined power control, as well as a rugged line of USB hubs, ethernet switches, routers, and other network solutions. We have a global footprint, with locations in the US, Israel, Switzerland, and India. We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team! This employee will perform inspection of units/components to ensure proper operation of each finished product.
Essential Functions:
Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to established AQL's and defined criteria using standards, physical, mechanical and/ or electrical criteria. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and parts lists. Perform detailed inspections of fine and precise work, requiring close attention to detail and the ability to visually inspect components, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Familiarity with industry standards:
J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and
IPC-A-620.
Conduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as audit standards. Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing. Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner. Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function. Assist in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocol and checklists. Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for corrective action to supervisor. Participates in team meetings to ensure continuous improvement initiatives. Build positive work relationships.
