About us Mass Design, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business in Nashua, NH. We have manufactured PCB's in the Nashua area since 1986, and continue to be a professional and agile company. Our strength lies in our people and we continue to grow thru the force of our Team! Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior PCB Assembly Inspector to join our team, for the inspection of assembled printed circuit boards (PCBs). The primary goal of this position is to indentify flaws that may have been manufactured into the product during processing, using magnifying equipment and using the documentation provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform all types of visual inspection related to assembled printed circuit boards using magnification equipment. Perform solder inspection for BOTH Through-Hole and SMT defects. Segregate and identify circuit boards with defects. Inspect each board for value, polarity and placement and identify the errors causing the defects in the proper reports. Perform in-process inspection when necessary. Compare shop traveler quantity to final count and notify supervisor in cases of discrepancy. Complete reject report, sign traveler and input data into final log. Obtain final report package and move to the shipping department. Certified or previously certified to IPC 610. Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
. Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job Understand basic arithmetic in reference to instructions where interpretations are required Understanding of prints and specifications including bills of material Ability to visually verify fine detail work Ability to understand and follow directions regarding the inspection of assembled printed circuit boards Moderate physical lifting or moving of final finished circuit boards (approx. 5-10 lbs) AOI experience is a plus!
Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of (2) Years of Experience inspecting Printed Circuit Boards/Assemblies
  • Certified or Previously Certified to IPC-610
  • Perform inspections using visual inspection tools
  • Proof of USA Citizenship (ITAR) This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and adherence to quality standards are paramount.
