A Quality Specialist III (Repeater Tester) in the Production Testing department is responsible for performing a variety of detailed electro-optical tests on repeaters and repeater sub-assemblies in support of Repeater Manufacturing. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a clean room environment, following all prescribed safety and environmental requirements. These are high quality, high reliability products and attention to detail and handling are fundamental requirements. Duties and Responsibilities (- Indicates an Essential Function)
- Performs electro-optical tests on multiple sub-assemblies, assemblies and finished products.
- Generates incident reports to track non-compliances in the testing process.
- Interfaces with manufacturing and quality departments.
- Performs basic computer functions and works within multiple software applications.
- Follows verbal and written instruction, accepts increased responsibility and is accountable for his/her actions.
- Follows safety guidelines (PPE, etc.) and demonstrates safe work practices.
- Maintains a good safety record, has a working knowledge of the behavioral based safety initiatives and accepts the responsibility to communicate unsafe situations.
- Adheres to the safety and quality standards (goals and metrics) of the organization while working within a team environment.
- While interacting with customers and visitors, represents the Company in a positive manner.
