Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate inspections for ongoing work in the Graving Dock and Mobile Boat Hoist (MBH).Review work specifications to verify milestones, production requirements, and workmanship quality are achieved.
Develop and support strategies and policies that improve quality and workmanship.
Facilitate communication between company personnel, customers, regulatory bodies, and government representatives.
Document inspection findings through appropriate project documentation and tracking processes.
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with daily inspection schedules and communicate schedules to all relevant parties.
Adapt and prioritize inspections based on overall project schedules and changing requirements.
Qualifications1 year of maritime/shipyard experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Ship repair experience preferred.
Knowledge of maritime safety protocols preferred.
Strong communication, organization, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to walk short distances for inspections and safely board marine vessels.
Comfortable working in an onsite shipyard/marine environment.
Weekend availability as project requirements dictate.
