Quality Control Technician Job Description As a Quality Control Technician, you will ensure that new workers are trained effectively, maintain housekeeping standards for a clean and safe workplace, and collaborate with Production Supervisors to facilitate effective production handovers. Responsibilities Train new workers according to company standards. Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace. Collaborate closely with other Production Supervisors to ensure effective production handovers. Essential Skills Bi-lingual in Spanish for effective communication with production staff. Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with diverse populations. Exhibit self-motivation and a results-oriented approach. Understand the principles, practices, and procedures of the food manufacturing environment. Lead and motivate others to achieve desired results and productivity goals. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in quality control, quality assurance, food manufacturing, and packaging quality. Proficiency in inspection, packaging, and production processes. Work Environment This position operates during the 2nd shift from 2pm to 11pm within the Cookies Production - Mixing/Mini Pan department. The role involves working in a standard food production warehouse environment, with exposure to moving equipment and machinery. The environment may be moderately noisy and includes fluorescent lighting. Cleanliness and sanitation are required. Typically, shifts are 8 hours and may include Saturdays. The production environment includes the smells of cookies and other food products, and products manufactured may contain peanuts and tree nuts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Brunswick, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
