About the Role As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will serve as a critical guardian of product integrity, ensuring that every item leaving our facility meets the highest safety and quality benchmarks. By leveraging your expertise in food safety protocols and regulatory standards, you will drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of excellence across our production floor. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pre-operational inspections and real-time process monitoring to ensure strict adherence to quality standards. Execute finished product evaluations to guarantee that only the highest quality goods reach our customers. Validate sanitation effectiveness and oversee environmental monitoring programs to maintain a pristine production environment. Maintain rigorous documentation for FSQA records, ensuring seamless audit readiness and regulatory compliance. Provide mentorship and technical training to production staff regarding inspection techniques and documentation accuracy. Lead root cause analysis efforts for quality deviations to implement effective corrective actions and prevent recurrence. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent educational background. 2+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance or Food Safety within a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of HACCP principles, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and basic microbiology. Physical capability to perform tasks in varied temperature environments and lift up to 40 lbs. Preferred Skills Formal technical training or certification in food safety management. Prior experience navigating FDA or USDA regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or provide technical guidance to peers.
