This role is well suited for a detail-oriented professional looking to build practical experience with routine testing, quality documentation, material review and plant quality processes while working alongside experienced quality and operations teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine laboratory testing and basic analytical activities using established procedures and laboratory equipment. Assist with testing that may include specific gravity/refractive index (SG/RI), sensory evaluations, spectroscopy and chromatography. Organize, maintain and track laboratory retain samples in accordance with internal quality practices. Support creation and maintenance of product or material specifications within an ERP system. Review supplier documentation and supporting records used in material qualification activities. Compile and analyze historical quality or laboratory data to support ongoing quality initiatives. Assist with routine QA documentation, data review and general quality-related administrative activities. Participate in plant quality inspections and other quality checks as needed. Collaborate with laboratory, quality and operations personnel to help maintain accurate records and consistent quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Chemistry, Science or a related discipline preferred. Laboratory, quality, manufacturing or related industry experience preferred but not required. Basic laboratory skills and familiarity with common lab instrumentation are a plus. Comfort working with data, documentation, samples and established quality procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams required. Experience with SAP or laboratory/quality management systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to follow written procedures. Ability to work effectively in both laboratory and manufacturing/plant settings as needed.
