•Friday Responsibilities Evaluate company products, raw materials, and intermediates for conformance to specifications and ensure compliance with all Quality Assurance standards outlined in the Quality Assurance Manual. Perform daily evaluation and approval of finished product, raw materials, and intermediates, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of results. Work collaboratively with other technicians to maintain efficient workflows and communicate findings effectively to supervisors and plant personnel. Maintain proper database entries and generate statistical analyses using computer software, including SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Teams. Perform physical testing, visual checks, and record data, primarily focusing on low viscosity polyurethane sealants. Calibrate, control, and maintain laboratory instruments accurately; ensure proper inventory of supplies and chemicals. Lift up to 40 lbs when handling boxes of finished goods as required. Assist in long-term testing, housekeeping, and paperwork such as scanning data; support other assignments as needed. Develop computer skills for improved data recording and analysis. Work independently with minimal supervision, offering ideas for process improvements and identifying deficiencies in laboratory procedures. Requirements Min HS Diploma, BS Chemistry or related science preferred Few months up to 3 years of hands-on experience in a QC laboratory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply Experience with wet chemistry techniques such as scales, titration, and viscometer Basic laboratory skills including data recording, testing, and instrument calibration Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a strong customer and quality focus Familiarity with SAP, Excel, Outlook, and Teams is a plus Ability to lift up to 40 lb boxes of finished products System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
