We are looking for an experienced CMM Inspector for a company located in Paterson, NJ, to support inspection and quality activities in a job-shop environment. This position requires strong dimensional inspection skills, the ability to interpret complex drawings and tolerances, and sound judgment when evaluating precision CNC-manufactured components. CMM Inspector:

Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on CNC-manufactured componentsInspect close-tolerance parts with requirements ranging from ±.001" to ±.0005"Read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and GD&T requirementsUtilize inspection equipment including micrometers, linear height gauges, depth micrometers, CMM equipment, and related measuring toolsAccurately complete inspection reports and required quality documentationTroubleshoot measurement discrepancies and identify potential inspection issuesManage multiple inspection priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailSupport ISO 9001 and AS9100 audit activitiesEvaluate part acceptability based on drawing requirements and customer intentPerform daily CMM equipment checks and routine maintenanceConduct probe calibration and machine accuracy verificationMaintain measuring equipment, inspection tools, and fixtures in proper working conditionSupport equipment qualification and validation activitiesFollow appropriate environmental controls to maintain measurement accuracyAssist with probe selection and measurement strategy development Benefits of the
