Job Description

Quality Assurance Specialist Location:
Friends of Cyrus - New Jersey Friends of Cyrus is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support our Director of Quality Assurance in enhancing the safety, compliance, and overall well-being of our residential programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role involves conducting audits, tracking performance data, coordinating licensing visits, and leading investigations to ensure regulatory compliance (NJAC 10:44A). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IDD services, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in IDD services (7 years with a high school diploma/GED, including 2 in a supervisory role) Bachelor's degree preferred Strong knowledge of NJAC 10:44A and IDD terminology Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic health records, and email systems
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct program audits and assist with licensing reviews Manage and report on program data and corrective action plans Lead or participate in internal investigations and prepare reports Support staff development and training initiatives Coordinate and lead committee meetings (e.g., Incident Management, Quality Audits) If you're passionate about improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and thrive in a structured, compliance-driven environment, we encourage you to apply
