PRIMARY FUNCTION

Quality Engineer responsible for full compliance, product quality and audit of WG Princeton. Assure Wyman-Gordon's Quality systems and procedures satisfy government and customer requirements, and assure compliance of product shipped to contractual requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

: A point of contact with customers, regulatory, and government agencies on all quality related issues, and audits Maintain and update the Quality Manual Control and approve internal procedures Auditing of Wyman-Gordon for compliance Responsible for the audit and approval of subcontractors Manage personnel responsible for quality planning, release of product and raw material, and the final certification of product. Function as the Management Representative as required by

ISO-9001, AS9100, AS13100

Manage personnel performing source inspection, audit, and release of product from subcontract suppliers

REQUIREMENTS

BS minimum, or 0- 5 years of experience in quality related functions preferred (Engineering degree strongly preferred) Training as

ISO9001/AS9100

Lead Auditor preferred Knowledge or experience required in the following areas: Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, Systemic Problem-Solving Skills, Poka-Yoke Development and Implementation, SPC, System Audits, NDT Testing, Material Testing, Blue Print and Specification interpretation, Customer specifications and requirements, Calibration requirements

SPECIAL SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Quality based computer systems (NDT, QMS) Good PC skills with Microsoft Office applications, Minitab, US Citizenship or Perm Residency is required due to government military contracts.
