The Quality Technician-Calibration tests, adjusts, and calibrates measurement instruments such as gauges, sensors, meters, and control systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. They perform routine inspections, troubleshoot equipment issues, initates purchase orders for external calibration, and document calibration results. This role often involves working with precision tools, following strict quality procedures, and maintaining detailed records for audits and regulatory compliance 2.

HOURS:
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM - includes 0.5 hour of unpaid lunch 4.
FLSA STATUS
Non-Exempt 5.

QUALIFICATIONS
6.1.1. Previous calibration experience 6.2. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 6.3. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.[AM1] 6.4. Strong interpersonal skills. 6.4.1. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions. 6.5. Ability to read and understand calibration reports, procedures, and other related technical documents. 6.6. Creative, flexible, and innovative team player. 6.7. Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions. 6.8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. 7.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
8.1. Maintains calibration database system in compliance with ISO requirements. 8.2. Participates in meetings to discuss status of calibration system. 8.3. Clerical support of third-party suppliers of calibration services. 8.4. Manages procurement of new measurement equipment. 8.5. Serves as a backup to various data entry clerks as needed and directed. 8.6. May need to perform mechanical inspections including tensile tests, adhesion/coil winding tests, cast tests, and/or other tests as needed to verify accurate equipment performance 8.7. Establish and operation different mechanical measuring equipment. 9.

Pay:
