Power Systems QA/QC Field Specialist Employer:

Compensation:
$20-$35/hour (experience and skills determine rate)
Travel Support:
$150/day per diem for those residing 90+ miles from the site Is This You? Do you spot a mis-terminated conductor from across the room? Do you live for clean documentation, accurate redlines, and zero-surprise AHJ visits? If so, this role will feel like home. What You'll Do Validate electrical installations: conduit systems, panels, terminations, labeling, and grounding/bonding. Leverage Procore on an iPad to record inspections, attach photos, and issue detailed reports and logs. Keep impeccable records of quality checks and corrective actions. Surface nonconformities quickly; work with superintendents, foremen, and electricians to resolve them in real time. Ensure every activity aligns with NEC, local codes, and project specifications. Review submittals, shop drawings, and as-builts; conduct pre-inspections to prep for AHJ walkthroughs. Model rigorous adherence to site safety and QA/QC procedures. What You Bring 3+ years of electrical QA/QC or inspection experience preferred. Fluency in NEC, electrical installation practices, and code interpretation. Ability to read one-lines, blueprints, and technical specs with precision.
Required:
Procore proficiency for daily documentation. High attention to detail and accuracy in reports and photo documentation. Clear communicator who partners well with field teams.
Safety training required:
OSHA 10, NFPA
70E, LOTO, Fall Protection, Motorized Platform, Harassment. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred;
NFPA 70E
certification and Forklift license are beneficial. Electrical License or NICET certification is a plus, not a must.
Technology:
iPad and Procore provided/used daily.
Pay & Perks Hourly Range:
$20-$35 based on experience and skills; annual manager-to-employee reviews create opportunities for raises based on performance.
Overtime:
Time-and-a-half after 40 hours.
Saturday Premium:
Time-and-a-half.
Sunday Premium:
Double time.
Holidays:
Double time plus 8 hours of holiday pay if eligible.
Per Diem:
$150/day for eligible travelers (90+ miles from the jobsite).
Benefits:
