TRIM ASSOCIATE

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the research, development, sourcing, and execution of trim components including hangtags, labels, patches, packaging, jokers, and branded trim items. Partner with Design, Product Development, Production, Sourcing, and Technical Design teams to support trim development and execution. Maintain seasonal trim development calendars, WIP reports, approvals, and critical path timelines. Communicate with domestic and international vendors regarding trim development, samples, pricing, approvals, testing, and deliveries. Maintain seasonal trim libraries, sourcing records, approval documentation, and vendor information. Support bulk trim approval processes, testing requirements, quality control, and production readiness. Track trim inventory levels and production requirements to support seasonal business needs. Assist with communicating trim specifications, packaging requirements, labeling details, and testing standards to vendors and factories. Review and maintain testing reports, certifications, compliance documentation, and related records. Assist in resolving quality, compliance, production, and delivery issues with internal teams and vendors. Support retailer compliance initiatives, audits, sustainability programs, and corporate quality standards as required. Assist with pricing analysis, sourcing alternatives, and cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of trim, sourcing, production, product development, compliance, or related apparel experience preferred. Working knowledge of trim construction, materials, packaging, labeling, and apparel product development. Familiarity with trim testing, quality assurance, labeling, and compliance requirements. Experience working with vendors and factories preferred. Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; PLM experience preferred. The Kasper Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
