This role focuses on preparing house-made breads, baked goods, and fresh pasta for our contemporary American restaurant. The ideal candidate enjoys working with dough, takes pride in consistent production, and works efficiently and independently while collaborating with our chefs. Duties Prepare breads, baked goods, and fresh pasta according to established recipes and quality standards. Mix, knead, proof, shape, and bake doughs with attention to timing, temperature, and consistency. Roll, cut, shape, and fill fresh pasta, ensuring consistent size, weight, and quality. Prepare pasta fillings and other components as directed by the culinary team. Follow daily production lists and coordinate with chefs to meet restaurant and private-event needs. Accurately measure ingredients, scale recipes, and portion finished products. Properly label, date, and store ingredients and prepared items to maintain freshness and minimize waste. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow food safety and sanitation procedures. Monitor ingredient levels and communicate purchasing needs to the culinary team. Requirements Previous experience in baking, fresh pasta production, or a professional kitchen preferred. Familiarity with dough handling, fermentation, and baking techniques; experience with filled and hand-shaped pasta is a plus. Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency across production batches. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the culinary team. Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
