Albuquerque, NM Job Details 13 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary The Quality Control Technician performs inspections, documentation, and quality-control activities supporting Unirac's manufacturing, warehouse, and supply-chain operations. The position is responsible for verifying material against established quality requirements, identifying and controlling nonconforming material, and maintaining accurate quality records and ERP transactions. Responsibilities Inspect inbound and outbound materials for quality, dimensional attributes, and quantity Perform in-process inspections of fabricated, assembled, and packed material Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify product requirements Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements Release inspected material within the ERP system from Quality to Inventory Identify, document, label, and segregate nonconforming material Support MRB and material-hold activities as assigned Provide fulfillment verification (shadow) of picked and packed orders and shipping documentation Validate pallet counts and packing lists for dedicated vans and flatbeds Assist in researching customer complaints and quality issues Provide accurate inspection data supporting KPIs and other quality metrics Support Manufacturing, Warehouse, and other Operations departments as required Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements Skills & Qualifications Detail-oriented with strong observation and documentation skills Proficient in the use of calipers and other basic dimensional inspection equipment Basic math skills and ability to perform dimensional measurements Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and specifications Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to follow established processes and prioritize work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable and able to maintain consistent attendance Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and develop new skills Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Basic understanding of ERP systems Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment Requirements High School Diploma or GED Experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or a related environment preferred Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices and 6S preferred Knowledge of Unirac products is a plus Forklift certification is a plus
