The Social Services Quality Assurance Analyst will: Review child support cases; Conduct reviews regarding federal and state mandates and performance standards; Ensure that the program meets all federal Title IV-D rules and regulations; Provide oversight of case management; Conduct various types of reviews, inspections and assessments; Document findings and provide justification of decisions. How does it get done? The Social Services Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for: Conducting Quality Assurance (QA) reviews on child support cases; Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and submitting written reports on the findings; Conducting Self-Assessment reviews on child support cases to ensure compliance with OCSE Self-Assessment regulations; Conducting Internal Revenue Service (IRS) inspections, submitting written reports and participating in IRS compliance actions; Analyzing strategies for the IV-D program relative to quality casework; Individual performance and customer service; Helping implement quality improvement initiatives. External customers including custodial and non-custodial parents, employers, courts, and contractors; Internal customers including field staff, Attorneys, and Management; Child Support Services Division (CSSD) employees and other units (or units within other agencies) to gain a broad understanding of the current system; and ultimately to become a subject matter expert. Minimum Qualification Associate Degree in Social Work, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or Family Services from an accredited college/university and two (2) years of any combination of experience, including working with communities on health or social service-related matters, social work/case management experience, behavioral health, and/or health care. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate. Employment is subject to a pre-employment criminal background investigation and is conditional pending results. in-state travel. Conduct one-to-one interviews with individuals receiving public assistance to validate benefits issued. Will assess cases for compliance and communicate with all levels of employees. During reviews, may encounter situations dealing with non-compliant cases. Incumbent will work under frequent time constraints and varying priority projects as assigned. Travel may be required with in-state travel to various field offices and occasionally stay overnight. Must drive state cars for carrying out assignments.
