Dispatch Quality Control | Sloan, NV Nexeo Staffing is hiring for a Quality Control position in Sloan, NV, for a leading wholesale distribution and supply chain partner serving manufacturers and resellers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in quality control, quality inspection, manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, or material inspection. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable using gauges and testing equipment, and able to accurately document inspection results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities- Inspect and measure products, components, and materials using gauges, measuring tools, and testing equipment.
- Verify that inspection and measurement equipment is functioning properly.
- Accurately record measurements, inspection findings, and quality results.
- Identify defects, nonconforming materials, and other quality concerns, and promptly report issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Perform routine process checks, quality checks, and product inspections.
- Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet required specifications and production standards.
- Read and follow drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality requirements.
- Work closely with Maintenance and Production teams to support continuous improvement and process quality.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
- Follow established workplace safety procedures and attend all required safety training.
- Help maintain quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout manufacturing and production processes. Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and measurement techniques.
- Experience with quality inspection, measuring tools, gauges, or testing equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify product defects or inconsistencies.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong documentation, recordkeeping, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to work effectively with Production, Maintenance, and other team members.
- Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus. Pay $20.00 per hour Schedule Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM Employees receive two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break. Bringing your lunch is recommended. Nexeo Benefits
