What Drives Success The Quality Control Inspector's primary function are to ensure the inspection of finished products in accordance with checklists and inspection procedures.
Job Duties:
Assisting in the sampling, sorting, measuring and inspection of incoming components and raw materials to the company's blueprints or specifications. Ensure the inspection of finished product to checklists and inspection procedures. Assists in the labeling, segregation and reporting of items which did not meet inspection requirements. Assists in the preparation of required inspection reports. Ensure products meet customer expectations. Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions. Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods. Determining the causes of product defects and reworks. Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products. Notify the department manager of any items that don't meet requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. What We Are Looking For Additional Requirements Must be able to work 5 days a week - 8am-5pm. Must be able to read/write in English. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Keen attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Problem-solving abilities are essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel. Basic computer skills. Basic math skills to calibrate and measure specifications. Ability to use measuring devices like calipers and measuring tape. Education High School Diploma or equivalent Experience A minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Control Physical Requirements - Essential Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, twist, and turn for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks) Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
