Monday-Saturday; Wednesday may be scheduled off based on business needs

Shifts:

Day and evening; first two weeks are 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. then role will move to 11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. post-training Kelly is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Quality Control Sample Technician to work on the production floor at our gypsum wallboard manufacturing facility in Buchanan, NY. Responsibilities Cut wallboard samples every 30 minutes to one hour using a utility knife and cut-resistant gloves. Measure samples with a standard tape measure. Record measurements accurately on log sheets. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Wear required PPE, including a hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, safety boots, and cut gloves. Assist with maintaining a safe and organized work area. Adjust work hours as needed to support coverage, with advance notice provided. Requirements Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience required. Experience using a standard tape measure required. Basic computer skills preferred. Flexibility to work day or evening shifts. Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift. Ability to lift and carry samples weighing up to 20 pounds, with assistance as needed. Ability to bend, twist, and perform other physical tasks associated with production work.
