Job Description
- Quality Control Inspector
- We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector that will perform a wide variety of electro/mechanical inspections of mission critical product in accordance with IPC-610 and
IPC/WHMA-A-620
Class 3 requirements. Knowledge of wiring and soldering of electro/mechanical assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, manufacturing work instructions and IPC standards. Familiar with AQL Single/Double Sampling Plan, use of measurement tools such as, Calipers, Micrometers, Height/Thread gages etc. In addition, familiar with quality control concepts, Mil-Standards, practices and procedures. Our Peerless Instrument facility provides state-of-the-art electronic assemblies, systems and software to the US military. Peerless' advanced instrumentation and control systems are not only used in Navy propulsion systems but provide sophisticated monitoring systems for industrial applications.Location:

Wage Information:
- $25.50 - $34.00 Per hour Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in New York. Your Challenge:
- + Perform detailed inspections on cable, harnesses, electro mechanical assemblies in accordance with all IPC Standards and manufacturing work instructions.
Your Expertise:
- + Knowledge of IPC-610 and
IPC/WHMA-620
workmanship standards + Ability to read and interpret assembly, detail and parts list drawings. + Experience in defense electronics preferred + Must be familiar with using PC based tools' + Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain DOD Security clearance \#LI-TS1 _No unsolicited agency submittals please.
