Job Description

Overview Quality Inspectors in the final assembly area are responsible for performing visual and functional inspections in the production line, truck shop, and electrical workshop both internally and with the client. This includes creating inspection reports and filing documentation properly on the Quality SharePoint. Additionally, this person will be required to verify modifications, create non-conformance reports (NCRs), and audit documentation such as control sheets, test reports, or serial number lists. It is also required that this person maintains a positive attitude, works with other departments, and prioritizes growth and understanding. Functional Description Conducts daily inspections as scheduled without causing delay to manufacturing Completes inspection reports using CHELI, DABI, or other systems as required. Creates Material Quality Reports (MQRs) for supplier related issues and shares with SQA. Work directly with SQA as needed to fully understand and document the issue. Utilize drawings, inspection criteria, engineering instructions, etc. to ensure assemblies are meeting design requirements and customer expectations. Determines the cause of repeating/significant defects and provides feedback to manufacturing/management to reduce the number of defects and over cost Assist production engineering in root cause analysis by performing additional inspections/measurements on non-conforming material Prepare Non-Conforming Reports (NCRs) in Baan for material issues found in production. Ensure NCR material is properly tagged and contained in designated locations. Participate in the material review board (MRB) as required Prepare reports and other documentation such as quality alerts, corrective actions, etc. Complete fleet wide inspections as needed for internal and/or supplier issues (FMIs) Assist in process improvement within QA and with other departments Title and file all documentation correctly in SharePoint, local drives, Teams, etc. Make any corrections to documentation as requested by management Additional responsibilities may be added or amended at any time to reflect changing business conditions. Training/Education Required High school diploma or equavalency. A two year technical degree is a plus. 3+ years of expereince in production or quality control preferred. Microsoft Excel knowledge is a must. Knowledge of
