Job Description

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Flight Checker- Food Packer to join our growing New York Team! With the three business segments of Airline Catering, International Event Catering, and Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels, we offer gourmet entertainment all over the world. We operate in 33 locations, 12 countries and 3 Continents, maintaining the highest standard of quality in both our products and services. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly - sometimes beyond our own expectations.
Responsibilities:
Check and pack food and goods according to DO & CO and airline specifications, ensuring the correct number of meals are accurately prepared and assigned for each flight. Ensure all meals are packed and checked in adherence to airline guidelines. Assist in setting up trays, preparing, and packaging food items as required. Conduct physical counts and pack additional equipment or products as needed. Report issues related to the food safety management system to supervisors and the hygiene and food safety team. Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations outlined in the food safety management system handbook. Support airside operations under the direction of the Flight Coordinator. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Comfortable working in a very cold environment for 90% of the day. Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a high-volume related role. Proactive and well-organized with strong attention to detail. Passionate about the airline industry and delivering quality work. Capable of managing a substantial workload and meeting strict deadlines. Able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Proficient in performing accurate mathematical calculations for accurate calculations. Driver's license preferred. Adaptable to various working hours, including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
