Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming raw materials, in process parts and finished components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, optical comparators, etc. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and GD&T specifications Verify dimensional accuracy, tolerances and surface finish against customer requirements. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records Identify and report non conforming material or parts; assist with root cause analysis and corrective action Support First Article Inspections (FAI) and maintain AS9100D compliance Collaborate with machinists, fabricators and production supervisors to resolve quality issues Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment Preferred Qualifications (Helpful, but not required): 2 years working in a fast paced production/manufacturing environment CMM Programming / Inspection Preferred Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems Knowledge of calibration requirements/procedures Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) First Article Inspection Reporting/PPAP-PSW Submissions Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite Understanding of effective sampling (AQL, RQL) Internal Auditing experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time Can push, pull, or lift a minimum of 35lbs
