In this role, you will develop, maintain, and optimize CMM inspection programs to ensure all manufactured components meet strict engineering tolerances and quality standards. You will work closely with machining, engineering, and quality teams to inspect precision parts, troubleshoot dimensional discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
1+ years of direct CMM programming experience using Zeiss Calypso. Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and engineering drawing interpretation. Hands-on experience with Zeiss CMM systems (e.g., Contura, Prismo, Accura) and probe systems (VAST, XT, or passive heads) salary: $58,240 - $70,720 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30

High SchoolResponsibilities CMM Programming:
Create, edit, and optimize off-line and on-line CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software from 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
Inspection & Measurement:
Perform dimensional inspection of complex machined parts, castings, assemblies, and first-article inspections (FAI) using CMMs and conventional precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators).
GD&T Interpretation:
Thoroughly interpret blueprints, model specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T per
ASME Y14.5
) to build accurate inspection routines.
