Job description The Cell Phone & Electronics Tester needs to be able to test a cell phone and other basic consumer electronics such as tablets, digital cameras, laptops, and gaming consoles by turning them on to see if they work and looking at the condition of them. We provide full-training and guidelines on how to grade the items within our software systems.

In general we are looking for candidates who:

• Show up to work every day on time, ready to work
• Are detail oriented
• Can use a computer and follow instructions
• Can Read/Write basic English
• Prior experience in working with smart phones, Apple products, computers, and/or other consumer electronics preferred, but not required.
• Experience within a warehouse and/or retail store that sells cell phones or electronics preferred, but not required. We will provide training.
• Full time or Part Time (25-40 hour work week + Overtime opportunities) positions available Monday
• Friday and sometimes Saturday during peak holiday season
• Must be able to inspect and test at least 40+ items a day in an 8 hour shift after training period completed
• Must be able to learn and carry out procedures and processes quickly
• Cell phone and/or electronics repair experience a big plus The Cell Phone Tester's Daily Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Helping the Fulfillment team in the morning with packing & fulfilling orders
• Testing cell phones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic devices
• Identifying different models of devices, mainly cell phones, and verifying serial numbers of the devices
• Following standard operating and testing procedures, performing date wipe / erasure, restoring devices to factory settings
• Determine the condition and functionality of the items using a detailed process and checklist
• Verify information about each device on computerized screens
• Determine condition and functionality of devices by following detailed processes and checklists
• Enter information about the devices using our inventory system using a computer
• Move totes of devices through the process to the next destination
• Provide feedback on improving workflow, efficiencies and quality of work
• Additional general administrative tasks as necessary
• Prior electronics / cell phone experience preferred but not required. We will train! In general, we are looking for team members who:

REQUIREMENTS

• General hours are 7:30am
• 4:30pm EST Mon-Fri (5 day, 40 hour weekly schedule, part time opportunities available), and sometimes Saturday
• Previous work experience in technology, electronics, and cell phones preferred, but not required
• Strong interest in working with cell phones and technology

25/hour + potential for future raises / growth.
