Lincotek Group is a world leader in the coatings industry and is active, through its different operating business units, in the European, Asian and American continents, with four main divisions: Aerospace, Industrial Gas Turbine, Biomedical, and Equipment. Position Summary QC Inspector Beth Page, NY 23.00 to 25.00 an hour The QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting and evaluating manufactured parts to ensure they meet quality specifications before shipment or reprocessing. The role involves visual and dimensional inspection , documenting nonconformances, and using various inspection and testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect parts using micrometers, rulers, scales, shims, microscopes, air gauges, conductivity testing, and other measurement tools . Perform detailed visual inspections , including scratch and surface inspections. Document inspection results, nonconformances, and test findings accurately. Review production and quality documentation for completeness and accuracy. Use digital cameras and computers/Excel to document findings and maintain records. Evaluate inspection/test results and determine whether parts are acceptable for shipment or require reprocessing. Follow FOD and safety procedures and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Handle parts and packages weighing up to 50 lbs .

Ideal Candidate:

High school diploma required; college degree preferred. 5+ years of Quality Control/Inspection experience . Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects. Experience with measurement and inspection equipment . Calibration experience is a plus. Knowledge of AS9100/aerospace quality standards is a plus. Comfortable with basic math, decimals, and fractions. Must pass annual Jaeger #1 vision and colorblindness testing . Able to work in both an office and manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on quality inspection role focused on dimensional, visual, and surface inspection of manufactured parts , with strong emphasis on accuracy, documentation, and identifying nonconforming product.
