$18/hour Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift (listed shift window: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM ) Position Summary Masis Staffing Solutions is hiring a Quality & Facility Safety Technician to support the Quality Manager in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and facility safety programs. This role is responsible for documentation control, audits, safety inspections, compliance records, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to help ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. What You'll Do (Essential Functions) Maintain and update quality and safety documentation , including SOPs, Work Instructions (WIs), and Standard Point Lessons (SPLs) Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the QMS Develop, review, and maintain packaging specifications , standards, and labeling requirements Conduct quality and safety audits to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities; track actions through completion Support change management related to quality, safety, packaging, labeling, and operational processes Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Customer Support on new products , customer onboarding, and process changes Conduct and document monthly facility safety audits and communicate findings to stakeholders Lead safety review meetings and monitor corrective actions to resolution Maintain safety equipment and compliance programs including eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, first aid supplies, safety signage, SDS management, and chemical labeling Maintain driver certifications, operator qualifications, safety training records , and other required compliance documentation Promote a culture of quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For (Minimum Requirements) High School Diploma or GED required (Associate degree or some college coursework preferred) 2-4 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, safety, or operations support Working knowledge of quality systems and auditing principles Knowledge of OSHA , Hazard Communication (HazCom) , SDS management , and GHS labeling requirements Experience with audits, incident investigations, root cause analysis , and corrective action tracking Familiarity with emergency preparedness, fire prevention, eyewash stations, first aid programs, and compliance requirements Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience maintaining compliance records, training documentation, and certifications (preferred) Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Masis Staffing is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
