Job Description
Job Overview Javin Machine is a precision aerospace manufacturing shop seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CMM Programmer / Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will utilize an advanced coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and precision measuring instruments to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. Your expertise in quality control, dimensional inspection, and technical schematics will drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to precision engineering and uphold rigorous AS9100 industry standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Program and operate a 2013 Zeiss Contura G2 with Calypso 2016 software, to perform precise dimensional inspections of complex machined parts. Conduct thorough quality inspections using manual inspection tools, such as height gages, dial bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify conformance with engineering drawings and schematics. Read and interpret blueprints and CAD models to determine inspection criteria and measurement points. Maintain accurate inspection records in compliance with AS9100 standards. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues related to machining, tooling, or CNC processes; recommend corrective actions to bring parts into tolerance.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CMM Programmer / Inspector within a manufacturing or machining environment. Minimum 2 years experience recommended. Familiarity with Calypso CMM programming software. Solid understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and schematic interpretation. The ability to use manual inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial bores, etc. effectively and accurately. Neat and organized. High attention to detail. Must be authorized to work in the USA.Pay:
